A pioneering furniture designer merits an equally iconic celebration. To commemorate the centenary year of renowned Danish designer Nanna Ditzel’s birth, esteemed Scandinavian furniture retailer Great Dane will collaborate with Georg Jensen and Kvadrat on an exhibition travelling to select capital cities around the country.

Known for her timeless and innovative furniture designs and profound contribution to Danish modernism, Nanna Ditzel has left an esteemed legacy in the design world. This travelling exhibition aims to capture this legacy, and her very essence, paying homage to Nanna’s journey. By showcasing her many iconic furniture pieces alongside jewellery designs and upholstery creations, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the depth of her talent and her unique artistic vision.

Known for her timeless and innovative furniture designs and profound contribution to Danish modernism, Nanna Ditzel has left an esteemed legacy in the design world.

As well as offering an immersion into Nanna’s work, a curated selection of archival Nanna Ditzel jewellery pieces and commercial jewellery designs from Denmark will also be available to view. In this special collaboration designed to capture Nanna’s enduring influence and inspiring creativity, Great Dane, Georg Jensen, and Kvadrat pay a timely tribute to the legacy of Nanna Ditzel and her profound influence on the world of design.

Currently on show at the Great Dane Sydney showroom in Paddington, the exhibition will open in the Great Dane Brisbane showroom on 17 August. Additional details about the exhibition may be found here.
