A deep understanding of emotional connection and thoughtful trend forecasting underscores Acoufelt’s newest handpicked colours. Each shade presents an evocative identity that amplifies the brand’s dazzling “Colourverse” – elevating its total colour options to 38. Journeying the new palette is soft, warm pink Flamingo that imbues interiors with feel-good charm; rich Currant blushes deeply with alluring charisma; Sea Salt lightly splashes spaces with tranquil pastel blue; Umber expresses a muted neutral mood; Sencha’s washed green recalls native inspiration; Walnut imparts grounding composure; Turmeric’s warmth incites delight; Granite takes on a rugged, red-toned grey-blue; and Almond recounts an authentically uplifting off-white.

Positioned as a brand fronting the market, Acoufelt assembles an expert team of textile designers, creatives and interior designers to assess colour trends and forecast their seasonal predictions.

Unveiled over a number of months, each colour was granted its own moment to shine, captivating the design landscape from late 2022. Now fully revealed, as of April 2023, all nine new felt colours are available to adorn interiors with their beauty and acoustic functionality. Comprised of pastels, neutrals and bolder primaries, the assortment beautifully complements Acoufelt’s existing range and yields a profile of diverse colours that serve a wealth of sectors and design visions. From wall to ceiling applications, every colour is offered across all the brand’s interior acoustic collections – wall panels, shapes, tiles, ceiling panels, ceiling baffles, clouds and more.

Acoufelt’s FilaSorb felt is manufactured with masterful accuracy and particular precision towards the expression of pigment. Informed by decades of technical textile knowledge and experience, the company undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage process of research, ideation, sampling and fabrication to assuredly perfect each hue. Positioned as a brand fronting the market, Acoufelt assembles an expert team of textile designers, creatives and interior designers to assess colour trends and forecast their seasonal predictions. Looking to a broad scope of influences as inspiration, the team analyses up-and-coming palettes across fashion, art and homewares whilst simultaneously observing the competitive landscape to originate fresh and unique tones – exclusive to Acoufelt. Once approved, shades are then specially formulated using a precise blend of yarns. This scrupulous process, which can often involve up to a dozen iterations of each sample, will ensure only the most perfectly blended colours are released to the market.

Once vetted for complexion, Acoufelt’s FilaSorb felt is crafted using processes and materials that consider human safety and the environment. Made from polyester fibres comprised of a minimum 60 per cent post-consumer recycled PET, all components are Declare ‘Red List Free’ certified, meaning no harmful and polluting materials are present. Solar panels attached to Acoufelt’s factory roofs also contribute roughly 30 to 40 per cent of renewable energy to power the production of FilaSorb, reducing precious carbon emissions and fossil fuels. Employing a manufacturing process that deftly weaves fine fibres of varying deniers, the resulting products possess a sleek, smooth surface finish, rich depth of colour and a variety of thickness options for designers to select from. Also owing to this specialised construction technique, FilaSorb felt offers strong acoustic properties. Reducing sound through exceptional absorption, products made from FilaSorb felt are specially designed to promote peaceful and productive spaces.

Ever evolving to improve human function, health and wellbeing through its soundscaping collections, Acoufelt continues to brilliantly colour interiors with its expanding palette. Set to grow again this year with its continued development of new colours, Acoufelt is devoted to the delivery of beautiful acoustic solutions.
