Debuting its newest brand, CULT welcomes PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED (PWTBS), which offers furniture, lighting and accessories for the interior space. Featuring objects from global designers such as Faye Toogood, All The Way To Paris and Australia’s Frag Woodall, the new brand is founded by former interior photographer at Wallpapers, Thomas Ibsen.

Founded in 2014, PWTBS presents a honed collection celebrating quality materials and durable craftsmanship. Pushing the boundaries of traditional Danish design, PWTBS combines functionality and creativity to deliver exciting new pieces. Alongside CEO Peter Mahler Sørensen, and now as the Creative Director, Thomas’s ambition is to position the brand as one that creates future classics.

“Our goal is to introduce designs which have the potential of becoming classics,” shares Thomas. He adds, “Before launching a new design, we always ask ourselves: Will this design, in its entirety, become a long-lasting object we someday can pass on to our children.” PWTBS is designed for both residential and commercial projects and its portfolio includes the Bondi Chair by Frag Woodall, Spade Chair by Faye Toogood, Maiden Chair by Studio PESI and much more. “The product range is really versatile and sits at a good price point,” says Richard Munao, CULT Founder and CEO. He continues, “I can see it being specified in all kinds of contract environments, from workplaces to hospitality venues, plus residential homes. I am looking forward to building the brand in Australia and Singapore.”

Featured in CULT stores and online, PWTBS is fun, eclectic and has been designed to transcend time. With its memorable name, the new brand aims to be thought of in a playful yet dependable way. Thomas says, “Our name sums up who we are – polite people with a keen interest in interior, with a sense of humour and both feet firmly on the ground.”
