Australian culture is deeply influenced by a connection to the outdoor environment. Memories of afternoons spent outside – sitting upon comfortable cushioned chairs with barbeques heating up and fire pits blazing in the background – are embedded in our cultural psyche. Recognising the significance of this special shared connection with our natural surroundings, DOMO will soon be relaunching outdoor furniture brand Point and its range of contemporary and classic collections that celebrate the joy of living life outside.

Expanding upon DOMO’s portfolio of outdoor furniture offerings, 2022 will mark the relaunch of Point – a brand originating from the Mediterranean climate of Spain and known for providing innovative furniture solutions, designed in both classic and contemporary styles. Founded over 100 years ago in the small Spanish town of Jalon, Point has developed a reputation for elegance and quality, designing furniture inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle, in a culture and climate not dissimilar to Australia.

DOMO will soon be relaunching outdoor furniture brand Point and its range of contemporary and classic collections that celebrate the joy of living life outside.

Point products offer a certain level of warmth, texture and natural appeal, designing furniture distinguished by the company’s legacy of woven craftmanship. Point’s outdoor collections are designed to deliver high levels of comfort, functionality and longevity, as well as offering a wide variety of textures, weaves and fabrics to suit any design aesthetic and combat the harsh Australian climate. The bespoke nature of Point products makes them an excellent alternative outdoor furniture option for residential and commercial projects, particularly within the hotel and resort industry. Recognised globally as a stylish yet practical addition to communal outdoor spaces, Point products have been specified throughout some of the world’s top resorts.

Through the relaunch of Point, DOMO will be providing the Australian market with increased access to some of the brand’s most highly regarded collections, including the contemporary designed Paralel, Min, Weave and Summer collections, as well as the classic Bubble collection, popular from the first.

Point’s contemporary outdoor collections combine the vision of many renowned European industrial designers with Point’s reputation for handcrafted excellence and use of natural materials to deliver products designed to elevate the outdoor environment. Meanwhile, the brand’s classic collections celebrate the essence of outdoor living and the origins of the century-old company. The handwoven pieces of the Bubble collection are lightweight, easy to clean and made using Point’s signature synthetic fibre SHINTOTEX, which is 100% recycled, thus combining classic design with modern environmental considerations.

DOMO’s relaunch of Point is testament to the company’s commitment to bringing the best in European design to the Australian market. Offering a tighter curated range of quality classic and contemporary collections for residential applications but also with a strong emphasis for commercial capabilities, Point is a brand born in Spain yet perfectly suited to the Australian culture of outdoor living.
