An Uncompromising Approach to Design - Rogerseller
Design has always been at the forefront of the Rogerseller story. Since Rogerseller was founded in Melbourne in 1895, this passion for enduring design, quality and creativity has led to the in-house By Rogerseller collections and the development of exclusive partnerships with leading European brands. Each has challenged the industry to advance, propelling design innovation across functionality, technology, sustainability and aesthetics.
Such exclusive partnerships with the likes of Fantini, Valcucine, Claybrook, Falper and Catalano have led Rogerseller to become Australia’s principal destination for European tapware, bathware and kitchen cabinetry. Applying over 120 years of experience in Australia’s design industry, Rogerseller works closely with their European brands to curate products for the Australian market, complementing the By Rogerseller collections. Both these Australian-designed collections and the European brands distributed by Rogerseller are united by their shared uncompromising approach to design.
Where Valcucine is impelled to achieve the perfect balance of ergonomics, sustainability and design to create innovative systems that pave the way for the next generation of kitchen design, Fantini has refined tapware down to an art, distilling the essence of form and function. Meanwhile, stone bathware designers and manufacturers Claybrook will spend three days hand-finishing a MarbleForm or stone bath, epitomising an obsessive approach to quality and craftsmanship.
Catalano has established its place as Italy’s premier sanitaryware manufacturer for the past half a century through an innovative approach to manufacturing that includes the unique glazing technique Cataglaze. Catalano are also known for the brand’s commitment to sustainability, a value shared by bathroom-furnishings designer Falper. Falper’s hand-finished pieces exhibit a refined materiality and are designed to embrace technology while respecting nature, a delicate balance found across all their work.
Australian architecture, interiors and industrial design have developed dramatically since 1895. It is a testament to Rogerseller’s forward-thinking approach that the brand has not only continued for over 120 years but, through both the Rogerseller design team and their European partnerships, become an indispensable part of the vibrant contemporary Australian design industry.
