Exclusively available locally through Stylecraft, Arper’s latest releases, the Shaal, Ghia and Oell, are part of ‘The Project of Living’ – a dialogue aimed at creating spaces that adapt to a rapidly evolving society – and embody Arper’s unwavering dedication to fostering a sense of openness and humanity in the spaces we inhabit.

The Shaal modular lounge, designed by Doshi Levien for Arper, is a beautiful, inviting piece of furniture. The supportive shell cradles the deep cushioning and elevates the sofa above the ground, providing a distinctive design that wraps around in a welcoming embrace. The Shaal consists of six core modules that can be combined to create angular or linear two- or three-seater configurations. Shaal can be upholstered from Arper’s collection of textiles and leathers in solid block colours or contrasts of colour and texture. For durability and sustainability, Shaal features fully removable cushions to extend its lifecycle with components and materials that can be easily disassembled for re-use or recycling.

Infusing spaces with a sense of harmony and calm, the Ghia collection of low tables, designed by Altherr Désile Park, naturally adapt to any setting. With their soft and sculptural forms, these tables possess remarkable versatility, allowing for the combination of different heights, shapes and materials. Whether opting for the asymmetrical profile of the three-legged base or the central, sculptural base, the Ghia collection offers three height options to cater to diverse preferences. The tabletops are available in circular shapes of varying sizes or an organic shape, finished in lacquered MDF, oak timber or Venetian terrazzo for the smallest circular variant.

With an emphasis on sustainability, the brand has obtained internationally recognised certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), ensuring traceability for all timber from responsibly managed forests, and does not use glue in its production.

The Oell side and coffee table collection, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Arper, is functional and elegant, balancing on a cylindrical base with the offset leg providing a cantilever effect to the tabletop and allowing maximum utility. Available in two heights, Oell features a cylindrical base and an asymmetrical column made of die-cast aluminium, whilst supporting round tops in two different sizes finished with lacquered MDF or porcelain stoneware. With an essential form and a material ex-pression of utmost refinement, Oell is quiet but full of character, always at the ready and never in the way.

In a constantly evolving world, Arper’s creations transcend furniture to shape the world we want to live in – a world that embraces change and supports harmonious, comfortable living in all its forms. With the three new pieces exclusively available now in Australia through Stylecraft, Arper continues to pave the way towards a future where intelligence and ease coexist, fostering spaces that inspire and nurture our wellbeing.
