Filled with natural light and timeless materials, Studio Prineas HQ welcomes clients into a place of learning and collaboration. Set in the flourishing Sydney harbourside suburb of Rushcutters Bay, the redesign of the architecture studio echoes the Studio Prineas ethos of creating enduring places to work, live and visit.

Wanting to capture the degree of evolution since the studio’s inception, Principal and Founder Eva-Marie Prineas worked to express Studio Prineas’s growth through design choices and specific material selections. Embracing the atelier-style layout, the office space has been fitted out with USM storage units, Eames office chairs and modular workstations, allowing for both team collaboration and individually focused work. The anodised frames and white facings of the shelf and desk units imbue an understated finish through the office, while from the east-facing windows, natural light is invited inwards where it illuminates the honed concrete floors.

Throughout Studio Prineas HQ, spaces of refined proportions and materials reflects their architects’ excitement for the future of design. “My goal is for my team to feel happy coming to work,” emphasises Eva-Marie, “to feel like they’re occupying a beautiful and safe place where all ideas are heard, and staff feel nurtured.”
