The Custom Colour Program by Armadillo & Co
The Custom Colour Program is the latest undertaking from Sydney-based rugmakers Armadillo & Co. Launched in February and available exclusively to trade clients, the program sees a range of colourways introduced and new levels of customisation offered.
Understanding that particular projects may require an additional level of customisation, the Custom Colour Program is designed for those instances where a room calls for a tailor-made approach. Offering a considered palette of vibrant and nature inspired hues, there are a total of 36 colourways within the pure wool hand-knotted Agra Collection to select from. Accompanied by a highly personalised customisation service, the result is a program allowing for a myriad of design possibilities.
With the bouquet of tones and colours within nature acting as a source of inspiration for the selections on offer, the Custom Colour Program embraces everything from sandy neutrals to lush greens, lively blues, dusty greys, blossoming pinks and eye-catching yellows, each with a textural intricacy that offers a luxuriant foundation for classic and contemporary interiors alike.
Rugs can also be made to any specifications required, ensuring that the size and shape of no room is too complicated to achieve the desired results. This includes the hand-weaving of hallway runners and circular rugs for a truly individual, show-stopping piece. All rugs are completely handcrafted, taking on average 14 to 16 weeks to complete, and allows for clients to choose their preferred finish – turnover, hand-binding, tassels or no tassels.
As part of the consultation process, Armadillo & Co encourages fabric swatches, paint chips and material samples for a particular project be brought in, encouraging such detail so as to ensure the most accurate colour is matched and a design finish is truly brought to life with the rug selection.
