With premium tiles ideal for high-end residential and commercial projects – bolstered by expertise and cutting-edge technologies – Showtile has become a go-to destination for architects and designers.
Since its launch in 2014, Showtile has provided architects, designers and contractors with tiles designed to complement high-end residential and commercial projects. Its range of porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tiles helps bring to life diverse spaces, from bathrooms and living areas to kitchens and alfresco zones, including pool surrounds. Clients have access to Showtile’s team of knowledgeable professionals, who use technologies such as VR – allowing architects and designers to see tile designs in situ – to guide selections.
Showtile offers 10,000 tile options, from the contemporary to the classic, sourced from countries including Spain, Italy, Egypt, Turkey and China. Sophisticated in appearance, the range is also underpinned by durability and functionality. For example, the Spanish Tenby stone-look porcelain tile collection is available in white, grey and beige, bringing a sleek yet textural touch to contemporary interior and exterior floors and walls.
For ultimate versatility, there’s the Travertine 3D collection, a travertine-look range with 3D textures. It can be used across all spaces, from the bathroom to the living room and kitchen, as well as externally for pool pavers.
The innovation inherent to Showtile’s products is embodied in the Luce series, which harnesses novel backlighting technology. This distinctive range is made with high-quality raw materials, such as clays and feldspars, which are translucid. Available in eight different graphics and colours with an onyx or marble effect, the tiles are imbued with backlighting, enhancing their colour and texture in an effective mimic of the organic light-filtering capabilities of their natural counterparts.
Showtile’s ability to elevate a residential project is highlighted in the Denison, an elegant contemporary residence by ES Design and JPH Built in Sydney’s Concord. The Tenby white matt tile is used across the kitchen and dining zones, as well as outdoors, elevating the sleek aesthetic. Meanwhile, at Rhodes Central, a luxury penthouse by Design Clarity and DBMG, Marvel Pro Grey Fleury Italian matt tiles in the bathroom bring an opulent finish.
Showtile’s designs have been used across a series of high-end commercial projects as well. At the upmarket Sydney restaurant Alegre Bar & Dining by Kathryn Ashley Studio, floors are paved in the stylish Travertine Classic Ivory crazy pave tiles, which bring an organic look to the Mexican-inspired design. The effect is continued into the bathroom, with the Travertine Light Medium while the kitchen features the clean finish of the White subway tiles.
While light and bright is the aesthetic at Alegre, rich and luxurious was the brief for French-inspired restaurant Bouillon L’Entrecôte in Sydney’s CBD. Its beautifully textured mosaic floors are paved with Carrara Honed Fan Mosaic and the Carrara and Bardiglio and Nero Honed Palladiana Mosaic tiles. In the bathrooms, an old-world, chequered bistro effect is executed with the Piccolo in black and white.
Versatility and functionality are at the core of Showtile’s collection, working to bring to life myriad projects across a diversity of styles and lifestyles. While the company works across a range of higher-end projects, it also has a budget-friendly online store, which offers a vast selection of quality tiles for spaces where budget is paramount.
