With origins dating back to a modest suburban Adelaide factory in 1947, Oliveri has been at the forefront of Australian design and manufacturing for 75 years. It was at this local factory that a highly-skilled and dedicated team pioneered the deep drawing sink process in Australia, beginning an extraordinary homegrown success story.

Originally known as Watkins and Starr, the company upholds the same commitment to quality as when it began as a domestic metal fabricator in 1947. Producing quality work with the utmost attention to detail and emphasising innovation, contemporary design and local manufacturing, Oliveri prides itself on making bold decisions when introducing new products to the market. For decades, the company has manufactured and updated modern sinks for the kitchen and laundry, before later expanding into kitchen tapware, water filters and, in 2019, introducing its premium bathroom range. Now offering customers a complete home solution, Oliveri’s much-loved products are found in kitchens, bathrooms and laundries across Australia and New Zealand.

The launch of the new Flinders Range of sinks continues this legacy. Crafted from premium grade 304 stainless steel, complete in a highly polished, easy-to-clean and luxurious finish, the Flinders Range is thoughtfully designed, engineered and manufactured entirely out of the Adelaide factory. Representing the first fully Australian-made sink released by the company in eight years – creating Australian manufacturing jobs in the process – it proudly wears the prestigious green and gold Australian Made logo. This famous insignia, the most trusted and widely used country-of-origin symbol, is widely recognised as a mark of Australian authenticity; to Oliveri, it represents a recognition of its past and a statement of intent for the future.

On top of its emphasis on local operation, Oliveri is committed to minimising its environmental impact. With stainless steel – an exceptionally long-lasting material that can be repeatedly recycled – at the core of the business and the overwhelming majority of product packaging being recyclable, Oliveri has been able to reduce its emissions by 38 per cent, well surpassing the 30 per cent target set by 2030. In addition, the Adelaide manufacturing facility is a zero-waste-to-fill site, further showcasing the company’s commitment to protecting and preserving the environment in which it operates.

After 75 years of experience crafting the finest sinks in Australia, Oliveri is intrinsically motivated to deliver products that stand the test of time. Each and every unit undergoes a rigorous testing program and complies with all relevant Australian standards, whilst all sinks that bear the signature Oliveri logo come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. Fashioned by some of Australia’s longest-serving craftspeople, the Oliveri name remains synonymous with reliability, innovation and quality.
