About
Building with Bamboo by Permaculture Northern Beaches
Co-hosted by Cave Urban and Permaculture Northern Beaches this event will focus on the many uses of bamboo in creating frameworks and industrial goods. Determined to assist Australians with sustainable house design, Cave Urban assists with minimal energy architectural frameworks, renewable materials and recycling systems that incorporate both aethetic and long-term durability and sustainability.
Having started in 2010, their projects have led to many collaborations both domestically and internationally. They have worked with MONA, Taiwan artist Wang Wen-Chih, Sydney City Council, to name a few.
This seminar will teach the practical study of using bamboo in the field of architecture and design. All attendees are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share. Cave Urban and Permaculture Northern Beaches encourage you to share items from your garden, vegetable patches, or fruit trees for a table that will be set.
