82 Degrees
by Meaghan White Architect
82 Degrees by Meaghan White Architect is a holiday house for former clients on untouched, undulating land in Quindalup Western Australia.
The 82 Degrees project is situated in a stunning coastal location with glorious beach to the front and a natural inlet to the rear. With enough space for multiple families or couples, this house is designed to maximise occupancy while remaining extremely compact.
Two bedroom wings link into a central living pod, keeping almost all the trees, framing the views and creating a feeling of ‘holiday’.
Close to the beach, this house features two separate and fully-equipped family wings, a central living zone, integrated bunk beds and sleeping space for 14 people.
Taking advantage of the Western Australian coastal climate there is also an indoor/outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, fire pit, open fireplace, window reading seat and garage.
The true test of an architectural project is the overall satisfaction of the client. Following the completion of the 82 Degrees project the proud owner commented on the services of Meaghan White and her team. “Having partnered with Meaghan on an extensive home renovation, we knew she was the right and only choice when it came time to designing our holiday house down south. We could not be happier”.
