Located on a sand dune site bounding the Mornington Peninsula National Park. The house sits on slender steel columns elevated above the shifting sands. Conceived as a viewing platform, the main living space is elevated and takes in expansive views of the local dune scape, ocean beach and more distant mountain range of Arthurs Seat. The bedroom and retreat wing sits behind the main living zone hugging the crest of the dune and anchoring the house back into the sloping topography.
