This gorgeous newly built home is located in the leafy streets of Armadale/Malvern in Melbourne. I was engaged by the family to bring the interiors to life with materials, fittings, furnishings, artwork and lighting in conjunction with Stonnington Residential. My intention was to bring a sense of softness, warmth and texture into a new purpose built space. The extensive use of natural stone and timber melds with arched steel doors and a circular staircase to create definition and a balance of symmetry, proportion and scale. The end result is a family home that is light filled, tonally calm and textured, fusing beauty with practicality and functionality.
