Eyecare Plus

The Eyecare Plus project is a commercial fit out of a optometrists with historical and cultural ties to the Sydney community.

This project was a collaborative process between designers Paredes Design Office and builders Maxam+Co.

Maxam+Co executed the commercial fit out through project management and construction creating a space that was loyal to clients design brief and the overall vision of the designer.

The project was designed to celebrate the 33 years of history the Eyecare Plus brand had established within the Sydney area.

The dark timber interior is accentuated by an influx of natural and artificial lighting sources created by the large shopfront windows and overhead illumination solutions.

Despite the small nature of the site Maxam+Co were able to maximise every inch of space available to them. Large display cases have been designed to showcase to impressive range of glasses for sale within the shop.

The centerpiece of the entire project is the contemporary lounge chair that clashes brilliantly with the light stone floor and dark color scheme of the store.

Ultimately the Eyecare Plus project by Maxam+Co in collaboration with Paredes Design Office is a historical celebration of an iconic Sydney brand with cultural ties to the unique inner-city location.
