Hawthorn House

The Urban Habitats team were honoured to deliver a full design & construction service for the renovation of an existing character home in the South Australian suburb of Hawthorn.

A striking square-form modernist extension was added to the rear of the existing villa which was substantially remodelled and restored to provide additional living space for the occupants. 

This project was truly a collaborative process and Urban Habitats collaboration with selected consultants on interiors and landscape from the outset of the design ultimatley led to a consistency of materials, detailing and outstanding levels of finish. It is the collaborative nature of the project that sets the Hawthorn House apart.

The client also worked closed with the design team and was key to the stunning final outcome. The client took a keen interest in the project from the start and their engagement helped to shape the way the Hawthorn House was managed and delivered.
