Mario Marenco studied architecture in Naples and received grants for research in Stockholm and Chicago. In 1960, he established his own architecture and design atelier in Rome, Studio DEGW. During his architectural career, he taught at the University of Sydney and worked for firms such as B&B Italia and Arflex.
