Candela di Vals is a suspension light fitting for indoor use. Consisting of 50mm body and transparent varnished 5mm thick, 150mm reflector disk. Made of natural brass with 1000mm or 2500mm long rigid rod and impact resistant transparent tubular glass. Made from untreated natural brass: over time the use of natural materials gives the lamp an oxidised appearance, which is different depending on where it is installed based on the humidity level.

About The Designer

Peter Zumthor is a renowned Swiss architect who has worked with Viabizzuno to create lights for his projects over many years. Candela di vals was created for his seminal ‘therme vals’ spa project in 1996 and was the first decorative product to enter production at Viabizzuno.
