Elba Dine
At its core is the Elba Dining Chair, a beautifully balanced piece that prioritises comfort with its supportive, cushioned backrest and ideal 450mm seat height. Its distinctive double-frame construction features an inset, fully upholstered seat, merging refined detailing with a minimal, lightweight aesthetic.
Designed with adaptability in mind, the Elba collection offers full customisation of frame finishes and fabric choices, allowing each piece to be tailored to your space and style elevating everyday comfort with thoughtful design.

Elba Stool (backless)
The Elba Stool Backless, a refined addition to the Elba Seating Collection, the backless stool version offers a simple, sleek, and understated profile. Available in three practical heights, 450mm (dining), 650mm (counter), and 750mm (bar). This design maintains Elba’s signature double-frame detail and fully upholstered inset seat, delivering comfort and structure in a visually light form. The Elba Stool Backless is designed to suit a range of settings, combining everyday functionality with considered design.

The Elba Stool comes with a comfortable, supportive backrest and is available in two versatile heights – 650mm, ideal for kitchen counters, and 750mm, perfect for commercial bar settings.

Zenn Design is proud to unveil the Elba Seating Collection. Marking a new chapter in our design story. Elba embodies refined form, understated structure, and everyday sophistication. Available in six considered design variations, each with the option of a backrest or a sleek, backless profile; Elba seamlessly adapts to any space:

Elba Dine 450H with or without back
Elba Stool 650H with or without back
Elba Bar 750H with or without back

Each piece is made to order in Melbourne by Zenn Design. The collection is available for viewing in our Melbourne showroom by appointment.

About The Designer

At the heart of Elba’s development was a collaboration with Lachlan MacKay, Founder and Design Director of Spaceman Studio. “I began sketching for Zenn and this evolved into random renders until we finally arrived at a form that felt like it had a unique and on-brand point of view,” says Lachlan. “Lachlan really helped us merge all our design ideas into one beautiful form,” shares Founder and Creative Director Hannah Goldberg. “We wanted to explore structure in a new way to create something elegant but different, something that hadn’t been done before.” Spaceman Studio is a design studio dedicated to transforming ideas and creating products that resonate for creatives and brands alike.
