Fukasawa Outlet with Benchmount Mixer

An iconic design by world renowned Naoto Fukasawa for the Fantini and BoffiAboutWater collaboration, the Fukasawa Outlet with Benchmount Mixer is highly elegant, contemporary and perfectly suited to the luxury bathroom. Reminiscent of the controls of a stereo, the design boasts discs and cylindrical shapes, while the set is coated with a superior PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) finish, harder and more corrosion-resistant than coatings by electroplating.

Available in Chrome, Brushed Stainless Steel, Matt Gun Metal, Matt Copper and British Gold finishes, the set is sure to suit any bathroom interior.

The set offers a 6 Star WELS rating and a single control lever with progressive cartridge. Progressive cartridge technology supports energy saving by opening in a low pressure, cold position which increases in pressure with the turn of the dial. Warm water is introduced past the middle mark, increasing in temperature as the dial moves to its furthest open position.

Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1956. He graduated from Tama Art University in 1980. In 1989 he moved to the United States and joined the San Francisco design firm ID Two. He worked on a number of products related to Silicon Valley computing and electronics technology. In 1996, he returned to Japan to start and head up IDEO’s Tokyo office. He came up with the design for a wall-mounted CD player, that was taken up and released by MUJI and has proved popular world-wide. In 2004, MoMA in New York selected this CD player for its permanent collection. In 2003 he founded Naoto Fukasawa Design.

In the same year he launched ±0 (PLUS MINUS ZERO), a new brand of electronic household appliances and equipment. Since 2005, he has worked on projects with major companies in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Northern Europe. In 2005, he founded Super Normal with Jasper Morrison. In June 2006, the first Super Normal exhibition was held in Tokyo and London. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Hon RDI (Honorable Royal Designer for Industry) by the Royal Society of Arts in London. Fukasawa is on the design advisory board for MUJI and is one of the directors for 21_21 Design Sight. He is a professor at Musashino Art University and at Tama Art University. He has won several prizes for design in Europe and in the USA, and in the author of books about design. In 2007, Phaidon dedicated a monograph to him.

Born in 2010, the Aboutwater project sanctions the strategic collaboration between Boffi and Fantini, two excellences of Made in Italy. The alliance promotes the creation of faucet collections characterized by refinement and modern sign, signed by important international designers.

If, on the rarest of occasions, a product fails to meet these high standards, we will replace, repair or refund the goods at no cost to you, as required by Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and any applicable state laws. You may be entitled to this if you contact us within 30 days of delivery and:

• The goods are faulty;
• The goods are wrongly described;
• The goods are different from a sample shown to you; and/or
• The goods do not do what they are supposed to do

Single residential: All Rogerseller tapware, bathroom fittings and sanitaryware are covered by a five (5) year warranty from date of purchase. Tapware cartridges are covered by a five (5) year parts and labour warranty plus an additional five (5) year parts warranty.

Multi residential and commercial: All Rogerseller tapware, bathroom fittings and sanitaryware are covered by a three (3) year warranty from practical completion. Tapware cartridges are covered by a three (3) year parts and labour warranty plus an additional three (3) year parts warranty.
