Honey takes cues from the humble honey dipper’s soft curves. The stepped geometric silhouette is a nod to a stylised Art Deco sensibility. Honey is hand made by some of Melbourne’s finest craftspeople – a collaboration with Bendigo Pottery, Charles Sandford and glass artist Amanda Dziedzic.

Offered in slip cast ceramic stoneware, or hand turned American White Oak, a number of glazes and finishes are available. White or pink hand blown glass completes the piece, and provides a soft, diffuse glow. Honey is a sculptural statement piece that celebrates Melbourne’s local artisans and provides a subtle ambient light.

About The Designer

Coco Flip is a Melbourne based furniture and lighting design studio run by Kate Stokes and Haslett Grounds. Working closely with local craftspeople and manufacturers, their aim is to create playful, unique products with depth of character.

Coco Flip’s design process begins with a mood or tone and draws extensive inspiration from travel. New destinations and cultures provide a fresh perspective and renew their enthusiasm for design. With an appreciation of slowness in life and work, they place a high value on time, allowing space to contemplate and digest ideas thoroughly to create distinctive work for people who celebrate great quality and a lust for life.
