Ray Dinh Architecture is a one man practice based in Melbourne, established in 2016 as a means to explore practice, precedents and side-projects with friends and family.
2018 marked the completion of First Lessons House, Ray’s first solo project which was shortlisted in the 2018 Victorian Architecture Awards (New House) and was a finalist in the 2018 Architeam Awards (New House). First Lessons House has been published on numerous online platforms, including Archdaily, Habitus, Designboom and The Design Files.
Ray studied graduated with First Class Honours from University College Dublin in 2012. His final year thesis was featured in The Architect’s Journal and his dissertation on social housing was published in the Irish Archizine 2ha, and more recently he has contributed to the RIAI Journal Architecture Ireland.
Ray is a currently a mentor in the Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Chapter Constructive Mentoring Program, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and Architeam.
