THE RELIQUARY is a Los Angeles based workshop with a vision to preserve and present old-world techniques and motifs to the current world of design in new ways. Rejecting mass production, works are created on a limited, made to order basis by master craftsmen located in both Northern and Southern California. In constant exploration of the intersection of innovation and the historic, materials are taken from nature and transformed using techniques of centuries past, then elevated with more sustainable components. These works will be alongside iconic forms produced in raw, industrial materials in ways that are authentic, while still pushing their philosophies toward evolution.
