TomMarkHenry

TomMarkHenry thrives on the creative development of unique and exceptional spaces, and in just four short years, the interior design firm has taken the Australian design scene by storm and built an international reputation in the process. Chloe Matters, Cushla McFadden and Jade Nottage are the three charismatic women behind the name TomMarkHenry. The talented trio founded TomMarkHenry in 2014 bringing together their skills and backgrounds in interior design, property development and business. Based in Darlinghurst, Sydney, the dynamic studio is increasingly active in residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and workspace projects, offering a full scope of services from interior design through to completion of build and consulting on details such as graphics, uniforms and menus to ensure a consistent vision is executed across all aspects of the project. The directors and team at TomMarkHenry are passionate and expressive, always taking a genuine and original approach to their work and collaborating with their clients to allow their story to guide the design. Investing time into the creative development of every project and remaining adaptable throughout the process ensures a sympathetic outcome to the needs of every project. And with a high value placed on human connection and cultural impact, they create unique, engaging and functional environments that make a positive contribution to their physical location and enliven the senses and habitat of the people who experience them. TomMarkHenry always seek to deliver an element of the unexpected as their spaces foster a full sensory experience. And paired with their textural aesthetic, their designs express many layers reflective of their client’s brand, customer and site, which are pared back to a resolved scheme. While TomMarkHenry’s portfolio is diverse, their reputation for high-quality work is consistent as they understand the value of design and seek to share it with their clients. In addition to executing local projects, such as 1888 Certified, News Essentials Barangaroo and Vibe Hotel Rushcutters, TomMarkHenry has been identified and engaged by big-name international clients to undertake Australian-based projects. TomMarkHenry has deservedly been recognised locally and internationally with a number of project wins and commendations in the World Interiors News Awards, Australian Interior Design Awards, EatDrinkDesign Awards, Interior Design Excellence Awards and Restaurant and Bar Design Awards. Most recently, TomMarkHenry was honoured with two awards at the acclaimed World Interior News Awards, which was held in February 2017, winning Best Retail Interiors Award (less than 200sqm) for their 1888 Certified project and the Best Bar Award for Dead Ringer. In addition, the design studio has been shortlisted by the World Interiors New Awards as one of eight emerging practices for two years running. With their authentic and adaptable approach and exceptional design acumen, TomMarkHenry unique and exceptional spaces will continue push the boundaries of design and expectation.
