Smalls like its name is an intimate wine bar. Exclusive in its laneway location our brief was to create a space that was intimate and reflected on the boutique nature of the small producers wine served. We have collaborated with local Melbourne makers to create a bespoke ceramic bar and leather makers to create the leather panelling. The material palette of Smalls is a mix of white and black stone to the perimeter banquets with a rich bar of custom ceramic tiles, stone and oak strappings.
Smalls won Best Bar Design at the Eat Drink Design Awards in 2015.
