Two Tables upon initial impression seem to be reciprocal, appearing as if one has been cut from the other. The design was developed through 1:1 scale model making with the ambition to design a pair of tables that compliment each other yet carry their own personality.
The larger table gently floats over the lower table. Just like siblings it is clear they are related but they are uniquly different. They can function together or apart, indoor or outdoor.
Fabricated from 4mm steel, Two Tables involve a variety of fabricating processes located in and throughout Melbourne.
The elevation drawing opposite reveals how it appears as if one table has been cut from another. The thin curved legs of Table 1 are seen as the inverse of the large curved legs of Table 2.
