Distinctly contemporary yet imbued with a classic feel, the Hob Chair is grazia&co’s latest addition to their iconic midcentury Featherston range. Defined by a durable frame and detailed craftsmanship, the Hob Chair represents the iconic brand’s continuation of tradition whilst still looking towards the future.

Accompanying classics such as the Contour and Scape ranges, the Featherstone range features pieces designed by acclaimed furniture designers Grant Featherston and Mary Featherston. Their collection of timeless furniture spans over 30 years and has been eloquently revitalised by grazia&co for contemporary Australian homes whilst retaining the distinct simplicity and lightness of form the duo is known for.

The chair is grounded in a simple yet highly compelling design – made from a solid American Ash timber frame with a vegetable-dyed saddle leather seat and backrest featuring a craftsman-bonded thread topstitch detail.

The chair is grounded in a simple yet highly compelling design – made from a solid American ash timber frame with a vegetable-dyed saddle leather seat and backrest featuring a craftsman-bonded thread topstitch detail. The solid American ash timber frame comes in a black or frost stain with black or tan saddle leather for the seat and backrest.

Adding an element of sophistication, intrigue and individuality to any space, the backrest also features a solid brass buckle and three roller brass buckles under the leather seat. This design is both highly artistic as well as functional, as the three roller brass buckles provide a subtle yet effective means of adjusting the tension, allowing one to customise their seating experience.

Encapsulating grazia&co’s experimentative and holistic approach to furniture design, the Hob Chair effortlessly combines form and function to evoke luxury, comfort and timelessness.
