Beju Residences is a collection of four elegant townhouses located moments from Tallebudgera Creek on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Mi Design Studio and K2 Projects have collaborated on Beju Residences – four townhouses designed with tranquil living in mind. With luxurious proportions and meticulous attention to detail, the two-level, three-bedroom residences reflect the natural coastal surrounds of Burleigh Heads through a carefully considered aesthetic. Michael Tomlinson of Mi Design Studio worked with interior designer Elicia Muratoglu, director of EM Design, to bring together a careful curation of materials and textures, including ForestOne’s EGGER Angora Grey for overhead cabinetry and Natural Kendal Oak for woodgrain joinery.

With luxurious proportions and meticulous attention to detail, the two-level, three-bedroom residences reflect the natural coastal surrounds of Burleigh Heads through a carefully considered aesthetic.

At the heart of each townhouse is an entertainers’ kitchen featuring a butler’s pantry, dedicated appliance area, two sinks, bar and large island bench. For the joinery, EM Design worked with a ForestOne representative to establish a harmonious relationship between spaces. “Exploring the potential of materials from EGGER led to the integration of a captivating, slatted sliding feature screen on the bar, adding allure to the space,” says Muratoglu. In the bathrooms and powder rooms, feature elements include rebated shelving and arched mirror cabinetry edged in EGGER’s Natural Kendal Oak which “complements and adds finesse to the overall aesthetic,” she says.

Continuing the seamless coordination of premium materials, the timber floors and cabinetry help to create a fluid connection between rooms. “The elegant Natural Kendal Oak, with its linear composition and delicate floral patterns, exudes a natural allure and is complemented by the velvety-matte tactile quality of the Smoothtouch Matt surface texture, elevating the space with a touch of opulence,” says Muratoglu.

For the joinery, EM Design worked with a ForestOne representative to establish a harmonious relationship between spaces.

With only four townhouses on the site, Mi Design Studio, K2 Projects and EM Design worked together to unify the exterior design, internal layouts and aesthetics. “Each residence encapsulates luxury design while thoughtful aesthetic details have been applied throughout. A feeling of wellness and tranquillity is captured by the refined palette.”

Among the array of materials, the inclusion of EGGER’s wood-based laminates and joinery helps to elevate each townhouse while also creating a relationship to the surrounding environment. Only moments from Tallebudgera Creek and Burleigh Beach, Beju Residences exudes elegance and harmony through its considered materials and design.
