The innovative patent allows the base and a top layer to be peeled off and cleaned in the washing machine, whilst also being stain-resistant and remaining softly tactile underfoot.

Each rug is created to elevate any space, whilst the variety of designs means there is a suitable match for every type of dwelling and personal style – from colourful to neutral, abstract to linear, as well as styles such as Persian, vintage, Moroccan, midcentury, bohemian, modern Australian and floral. Double’s first collection also comprises of a range of textures that have been thoughtfully considered to complement the modern Australian aesthetic. These textures include chenille, cotton pile, new jute, vegan shearling and highland, which is named after the highland cow and expresses the quintessential rural Australian, shag-like look and feel.
