Kent 3 by Agushi
Tucked within the leafy streets of Toorak, Kent 3 marks Bear Agushi’s third and most ambitious instalment in this prestigious neighbourhood. Perfectly positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac, the home’s generous form is orientated to capture northern light throughout the day, illuminating its expansive garden and pool area.
With a commanding 28-metre street frontage and an architecturally striking board-formed concrete facade, Kent 3’s design is inspired by iconic brutalist residences – reinterpreted through a distinctly Melbourne lens. Designed, built and curated by Agushi in collaboration with interior stylist Simone Haag and landscape designer Nathan Burkett, this five-bedroom residence balances bold architectural form with considered lifestyle design.

Upon entry, a central hallway leads to formal living and dining areas, as well as a separate kitchen and informal zone that flows effortlessly into the north-facing backyard oasis. Here, alfresco dining, a sunken lounge, a feature pool and a raised sun deck evoke a resort-like atmosphere. A spacious scullery and generous study complete the main floor’s layout.
On the lower level, a four-car basement garage is accompanied by a full wellness centre, including a gym, sauna, massage area and bathroom. A guest suite, generous living room and private theatre provide additional zones for relaxation and retreat. Upstairs, the primary suite is a true sanctuary, with expansive walk-in wardrobes and a luxurious ensuite. Three additional bedrooms each include built-in wardrobes and private ensuites, offering comfort and independence for every occupant.
Throughout the residence, refined design details elevate everyday living. From bespoke timber joinery to the extensive use of concrete and stone, every material choice reflects a commitment to craftsmanship. A dual-level concrete ribbon staircase and soaring double-height voids flood the interior with natural light and spatial drama, while lift access to all floors ensures ease of movement.
Simone Haag’s interior styling brings warmth and texture to the architectural framework, favouring timeless design over fleeting trends. Meanwhile, Burkett’s landscape design introduces softness and contrast, grounding the home within its environment.
With Kent 3, Agushi continues to craft luxury homes that embody both creative ambition and considered liveability.
