Cieran Murphy
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

With an architect father, Cieran was exposed to the built environment and learned how to appreciate its many iterations from a young age. Capturing the essence of residential and medium-scale commercial buildings through a keen eye for detail, he has mastered the ability to make fixed structures seem alive. Cieran has worked in many memorable places, including Saudi Arabia, Japan, Papua New Guinea, France and Italy. However, it was when he visited New Zealand in 2019 that he created his evocative work ‘Silent Mountains’, which was then released as a photographic series aimed at reconnecting viewers to nature. With his ability to capture a building or natural landmark and transport viewers, Cieran’s work is a testament to how a picture is worth a thousand words.

With an affectionate approach, she’s able to capture the vibrancy of plates, faces, soft- drink cans, fridge contents and generous tablescapes.

Alana Dimou
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

While studying digital media at the University of New South Wales’ School of Art & Design, Alana learnt to take photos by cataloguing her home cooking triumphs. Over the years, her experimentations turned into documenting others’ creative processes. Working across several fields, including food, lifestyle and travel, Alana is guided by the energy of her surrounds and offers bold and transportive experiences through her lens. With an affectionate approach, she’s able to capture the vibrancy of plates, faces, soft-drink cans, fridge contents and generous tablescapes, and has been commissioned by a string of local and international publications. Deftly illustrating the nuances of the spaces she captures, Alana records what others may not see and offers colourful takes on otherwise everyday objects, activities or spaces.

Annika Kafcaloudis
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Hoping to convey a sense of abstraction within her work, Annika focuses on a heightened sense of reality and almost romanticises the object or scene she casts her lens upon. Born on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, she went to university and discovered she wanted to move far away from clean, bright background photography work. Now based in Melbourne, Annika has worked across the globe capturing otherwise everyday objects and habits in an enchanting manner and bringing new and heightened perspectives to still life in both commercial and personal projects. Her recent exhibitions include ‘Family History’ in 2022 and ‘The Vessel’ in 2021, both at Oigåll Projects in Melbourne. Last year, she released her first monograph, Book 01.
