Consisting of five furniture pieces in rich creamy marble, the Tiramisu Collection is the result of an exciting collaboration between Trit House and interior designer and influencer Bec Judd. Incorporating the bold and rich nuances Bec is known for, the new collection marries opulence with exacting craftsmanship.

Bec Judd felt like the perfect collaborator for Trit House, a furniture retailer and designer whose showrooms in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne feature a beautifully curated collection of furniture, objects and art. Having cemented herself as an authoritative voice in the design and lifestyle sector throughout the years of The Style School and several house renovations, Bec’s signature interior style was an ideal fit with Trit House. “Collaborating with Bec felt like a natural choice for us,” says Trit House Director Ivan Yoong. “Her interior style is edgy and bold, and we were excited to have something different to complement our existing product range.”

The collection consists of five refined, luxurious pieces that immediately imbue a space with a sense of sophistication.

The collection consists of five refined luxurious pieces that immediately imbue a space with a sense of sophistication. The pieces are made with Tiramisu marble – a highly detailed artisanal stone in rich but restrained golden-brown tones – complimented by brass detailing. The marble was hand-selected for its unique properties, strong presence and ability to make a robust design statement. “No two pieces of marble are the same, which adds to the wonder of the pieces,” says Ivan. “Bec wanted to create something with a strong presence that would become a design feature of any room. On a practical note, marble is durable and, when cared for, will last a lifetime.”

The pieces are textural and distinct in form. This approach was informed by the initial stages of the 14-month design process – myriad forms were considered during initial discussions, but both Bec and the designers at Trit House felt the bolder, more angular pieces best reflected her design ethos. Layered legs on coffee tables and stacked legs on the console and mirror add further depth and interest to these statement pieces.

“Bec wanted to create something with a strong presence that would become a design feature of any room.”

“The beauty about the creamy tiramisu marble tones is that they lend themselves to many different colour palettes,” Ivan says. “Bec designed these pieces with her own modern architectural home in mind, so the marble and brass combination makes them most suited to a contemporary, luxe aesthetic.” The collection is available online at Trit House.
