Timber, neutral colourways and timeless travertine are the hallmarks of RJ Living’s latest outdoor collection, perfectly suited to Australian alfresco living.
RJ Living has released a new range of outdoor furniture, perfectly timed for the height of the Australian summer. The collection is centred around two key factors – durability and elegance – and is designed to enhance any alfresco space, whether coastal, city or bush. “This collection is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality that ensures these items will provide enjoyment for many summers to come,” says Marcel Mena, the company’s marketing specialist.
With a light and fresh material palette, the pieces evoke a sense of modernity yet are classic in form and style, making them suitable for a wide range of settings. The Everett two-seater outdoor sofa and armchair – also available as a package with matching coffee table – feature a durable aluminium frame and plush, high-density cushions in a soft, sand-coloured hue. Corded detailing on the sides adds an extra dimension of interest.
There’s a similar lightness in the Burnett range, which includes an armchair, dining chair, three-seater sofa and coffee and dining table. In the seating range, a eucalyptus timber frame and handwoven rope seat and backrest form the backdrop for deeply comfortable cushioning in a neutral beige. The tables are also crafted from eucalyptus, with a smooth finish that allows the timber’s grain to shine through. Burnett is available in both dining (with seats in a contemporary eucalyptus grey palette) and living packages.
Rounding out the collection is Arlie, a dining table with matching benches crafted from opulent travertine-look concrete. The pieces have a distinctly European style, evoking the Greek Islands with their pillar-style legs. The contemporary aesthetic and smooth finish, combined with the timeless appearance of travertine, make the range the perfect centrepiece for alfresco dining. Arlie is available in a package comprising the 240- centimetre-long table and two 220-centimetre-long benches.
