The new addition to Armadillo’s Classic Collection is inspired by the inherent human affinity with nature. With colours, patterns and textures that echo landscapes around the world, the new designs in the collection are intended to bring the calm of nature into the home.

Available in a range of neutral tones, Andes is an asymmetric wool weave that harnesses the loose contours of landscapes to create a sumptuous tactile surface underfoot. Bramble draws on textured jute to create a rug whose earthy palette seems lifted from the rich, sandy soil. A soumak weave, the rug offers a robust, tactile quality to interiors. Combining hand-knotted wool and a brash-dyed jute, Acacia’s dappled surface has an elemental quality that evokes the expanse of earth’s vistas viewed from above. Meanwhile, Winnow is described as “timely in its timelessness”. With a flat weave cross-hatched by flecked wool, the rug is a hardwearing staple that favours elegant simplicity over excess.

Each of the four rugs is intended to be a ground forcing that ages gracefully. By taking inspiration from the organic hues, lines, shapes and forms of the natural world, Armadillo’s latest addition to the Classic collection is designed to ensure the home becomes an equally tranquil habitat.
