Made by Morgen’s Crafted Collection is a new range of bespoke furniture that exudes elegance, quality and craftsmanship. This is the second collection from Made by Morgen, following the success of the first range launched in 2017.

The Founder of Made by Morgen, Nick McDonald, comes from a commercial building background and witnessed how modern building standards impact every aspect of life. He wanted to create beautiful spaces and objects that inspire and unite people. He drew inspiration from skilled and hardworking individuals as well as Scandinavian and midcentury furniture designs. This inspired the guiding philosophy of “make it simple, make it well,” which underpins the entire collection.

The collection was commissioned by a client who was impressed by some prototypes and wanted furniture that complemented their new home, designed by Rob Kennon Architects. The neutral colour palette and layered design create depth and visual interest, while the visual lightness of the pieces adds elegance and refinement. A number of pieces utilise the traditional technique of woven Danish cord, providing the furniture with a warm and textural feel. Made by Morgen’s design philosophy of exposing joinery and subtle detailing is evident in the use of solid timber for the construction of the furniture.
