A short walk from Sunshine Beach, the Pacific House is designed for a young family with two children who embrace the coastal lifestyle. This home offers practicality and functionality through a modernist architectural lens. The house is shaped around a central courtyard that allows natural light and ventilation to penetrate deep into the plan. The durable burnished concrete floors are balanced with light oak timber, integrated soft furnishings and free form natural stone. All the living spaces are located on the ground floor with large siding doors blurring the line between inside and out. Upstairs is split into two wings at the stairs: to one end is an isolated area for the children and to the other an expansive master suite with ocean views.
