Brand Pampa
Designer Pampa

The Capsule Pampa collection has travelled from the dry forests of Northern Argentina, an area known simply as the Monte. Here, different groups of weavers use sheep’s wool to create monochrome and neutral rugs inspired by the dry, sunbaked forests and desert landscapes their ancestors have lived among for centuries. The use of bright colours is a reference to the flowers, insects and other lifeforms that roam the Monte, some of which are now just a memory.

Handwoven by skilled artisans, all Pampa rugs have been sourced directly for a fair price from the communities where they were made. Many of the rugs in this collection use designs and colourways that are exclusive to Argentina and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

About The Designer

Pampa works directly with skilled artisans in remote and rural Argentina to bring you the finest-quality woven textiles.

In many parts of Argentina, natural dyes. patterns inspired by nature and the traditions of manual weaving are slowly fading away. Pampa was founded with the desire to protect this woven heritage for the next generation.

In the Quechua language, Pampa means ‘plain between the mountains. All Pampa’s collections have a deeply rooted sense of place and are named after the landscape where they were made.

Customisations

Colours and dimensions can be customised and if you would like to customise the design for your space, please visit the Design Your Pampa Rug section on our website to learn how we can help you create your ideal Pampa rug.
