The latest chair from Zenith, Denn intelligently combines intuitive functionality, environmental consideration and comfort with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Designed by Formway for Zenith, Denn is an innovative task chair designed for the modern workplace. A sophisticated yet casual addition to any office or study, Denn encompasses the very foundations of holistic design and immediately elevates any space.

Bringing a laid-back, residential feel to the workplace, the Denn chair bravely rejects the traditionally sterile and solely functional look of office chairs. Its aesthetic appeal responds to the shift in workplaces prioritising comfort and wellbeing – defined by a residential sensibility that evokes a calm yet playful feel. Denn is available in seven statement colours, each with varying saturations and finishes, including amber, ruby, forest and mint. The mix between the transparency of the polycarbonate and the netting delivers different shades and dynamics depending on the light, location and movement.

While Denn’s innovative approach to aesthetics is central to the chair’s appeal, inquiry and development into performance and sustainability also ground the chair’s design.

While Denn’s innovative approach to aesthetics is central to the chair’s appeal, inquiry and development into performance and sustainability also ground the chair’s design. Today’s workplace is a multi-space, multi-person and multi-activity ecosystem – whether it be an office or the home – and Denn is designed to seamlessly support the new collaborative, dynamic world of work. A patent-pending mechanism enables the chair’s unique motion, which encourages movement and automatically adjusts to a user’s weight. The option of 4D arms offers adjustment in four dimensions, also providing a greater inward rotation, and fixed loop arms are also available.

Denn is designed with the planet in mind, without compromising on function or façade. Not only does Denn use as few materials as possible, but it also uses environmentally conscious and recyclable materials. The back structure is made from recycled polycarbonate, which does not contain any fillers, and the 3D knitted back surface is made from SEAQUAL®YARN, 100 per cent post-consumer recycled polyester containing upcycled marine plastic. The back structure is 90 per cent post-consumer recycled polycarbonate and uses no glass fibre, enabling better recyclability. Finally, the structural plastic in the 4D arms, loop arms, base, mechanism and lower back is 100 per post-consumer recycled polyamide.

Zenith takes a holistic approach with Denn, a chair that fuses performance and environmental sensitivity with a subtle residential aesthetic. With a look and feel that inspires creativity, a patent-pending motion that allows comfort, collaboration and movement, and a design promoting positive environmental solutions, Denn offers an exciting glimpse into the future of workplace furniture design.
