Revitalised Beginnings – Formica by Laminex
Laminex has extended its Formica range with three new solid colours, five new woodgrains and three new stone patterns. With its diverse array of surface solutions, Laminex continues to allow its clients the ability to create a style that is personally suited to them.
Delivering durable and hardwearing laminates for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and wardrobes since 1957, Formica has revitalised its collection of laminates to meet the evolving needs of designers and end-users. “We are thrilled to introduce our new range of decors, which reflect our commitment to providing the highest quality and most stylish surface solutions for residential projects,” says Sacha Leagh-Murray, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Laminex.

Three additional shades are new to the Formica colour range, including Simply White, a clean white with a hint of yellow; Riverside, a natural greyed green-blue; and Grassland, which offers a warm and organic pale green. Alongside these colours, the new additions of Soft Oak, Mellow Oak, Golden Oak, Provincial Walnut and Shadow Walnut round out the collection of woodgrains, all of which may be complemented with either a velour or grain finish. Capturing the warmth, character and essence of real timber, Formica woodgrains are designed to offer a resilient surface in any high-traffic areas. Three new stone patterns are also featured, which includes the Purestone, a marble design with diagonal patterns; Grafito, a hybrid stone design with white veins against a soft grey; and Truestone, a terrazzo-inspired concrete décor.
“With Formica, we remain dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our customers,” says Sacha, “and are confident that our new additions will prove to be a popular choice for years to come.” Complemented by its new colours, woodgrains and stone patterns, the Formica collection is designed to provide residential projects with aesthetically pleasing and efficient surface solutions.
