Combining the benefits of local Australian manufacturing with the performance of European technology, BINQ Windows is leading the way with architectural window and door systems that play an integral part in building a sustainable future for generations to come.

BINQ Windows’ mission is simple – “to raise the standard in the industry by providing customers with unequivocal excellence in products and service.” Providing the Australian residential and commercial design community with access to locally-manufactured timber and aluminium window and door systems, BINQ Windows is a brand built not only on the basis offering of value, prioritizing sustainability and delivering exceptional quality but also on creating an unparalleled client experience. “We want to have a reputation that is built on solid foundations of integrity and trust and which is highly focused on customer service – offering exceptional standards of service at each touch point of the customer journey,” says Managing Director Jacob Cosentino.

Integral to BINQ Windows’ objective to raise the industry standard is the European-designed and engineered Archetto series. Crafted from 68mmtimber profiles and delivering the highest possible thermal efficiency, the Archetto series provides a glazing rebate of up to 32mm and comes with double glazing as standard, with triple glazing and unlimited size and scale options also available. “Our Archetto series is a range of products whose roots are German-designed and engineered, but we’ve sourced hardware from Italy that allows us to tweak these designs to be more suited to the Australian market,” explains Jacob. “We feel that Australians are very design-conscious and through the small design tweaks – utilising slimmer timber profiles to allow for more glass and having a range of Italian handles – this series is a very elegant, functional and well-performing suite of products, all manufactured in Australia.” Further establishing Archetto as a world-standard product offering, the series will soon be passive-house certified, making it the only timber window system manufactured in Australia to achieve this certification.

In line with BINQ Windows’ commitment to sustainability, the company was selected as a project partner for the ground-breaking Nightingale Housing initiative. “Architects and designers are now working with us more closely than ever before in order to better understand our products so that they can form a design that is responsive to the windows, rather than finding a window that is suitable to a design,” says Jacob. “It’s incredibly encouraging to see sustainable housing that is coming out by Nightingale – and for BINQ to be a project partner.” Along with Nightingale Housing, BINQ Windows has also worked with environmentally-focused property developer HIP V. HYPE on a number of projects, including the recently completed Ruskin Elwood and Davison Collaborative. Through the delivery of low impact, locally manufactured quality doors and windows, BINQ Windows was able to facilitate a high-performance building envelope for both projects.

BINQ Windows is a brand built not only on the basis offering of value, prioritizing sustainability and delivering exceptional quality but also on creating an unparalleled client experience.

With further projects that place a similar emphasis on sustainability on the horizon, BINQ Windows is more committed than ever to improving the energy efficiency of Australian buildings. “It’s very exciting,” says Jacob. “We are an incredibly focused and clear on our purpose and mission – making world-standard windows and playing our part in building a sustainable future.”
