What advice would you give to young people looking to buy?
Many buyers regret not acting early when they find the right property. Do your research while securing finance approval so you’re prepared to move quickly. When the right home comes along, you’ll be in a position to act with confidence rather than hesitation.
What’s your number one tip for someone selling their property?
Invest in professional property presentation – it’s what excites buyers and creates emotional connection. Then, align with an agent who holds genuine market share and community presence. The right agent already knows the buyers and that insider access can add significant value to your sale.
What is the favourite property you’ve sold and why?
A standout would be 26-28 Rainford Street, Surry Hills, which set a suburb record. The vendors’ craftsmanship and attention to detail were clear throughout. It was special to see such kind sellers pass their home on to buyers who truly love the space – it made the sale feel personal.
What do you think buyers are looking for in new apartment developments?
They want confidence as much as design. Do your research on the developer’s track record, the area’s long-term growth and how similar projects have performed once completed. Quality, location and trust in delivery are what ultimately drive both demand and value.
What Sydney suburbs do you think will experience the biggest growth over the next 12 months?
It’s difficult to predict as markets can shift quickly. My focus remains firmly on Sydney’s inner-city – Paddington, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Woollahra – where I specialise. What I do see consistently is strong demand and limited supply, driving healthy competition in these areas.
